Nope the earth didn't move for us!
Despite reports of New Zealand's biggest earthquake since 1931 being felt in Christchurch, we didn't feel a thing. The shallow 7.8 quake in the lower area of South Island (several hundred km away) sparked a confirmed tsunami, but there are currently no reports of injury. There was also a 6.1 aftershock.
